A bandaged figure leans on one wand in front of a line of eight others. They have been hurt but have not abandoned their post. The card honors learned self-protection while acknowledging that resilience has limits. Caution may serve as a resource or become a prison.

Reversed meaning
Past harm can make safe situations seem threatening. Alternatively, reserves may genuinely be depleted, and rest or help may be needed. Reversal does not always mean defeat; sometimes it is permission to stop.
