Blindfolded and bound, a figure stands among eight swords, yet the blades do not form a closed wall. The card portrays feeling trapped when perspective and autonomy are limited. Some barriers are assumptions; others are real conditions that demand outside resources and help.

Reversed meaning

Someone may begin loosening an old belief or accepting support. Alternatively, self-blame may deepen helplessness. Never use the reversed card to blame a person whose real circumstances restrict their choices.
