A wealthy figure weighs resources and gives to one kneeling person while another waits. The card explores generosity and the relationship between those who distribute resources and those who receive them. The scales invite a question about fairness, not automatic praise for the giver.

Reversed meaning
Giving may become a means of control, exceed someone's means, or place the recipient under unwanted obligation. Pride may also make help difficult to accept. Reversal can suggest clearer terms and more reciprocal arrangements.
